Day
01 : Arrival Delhi Arrive Delhi, Meet assist at the airport &
transfer to hotel.
Day 02 : Arrival Delhi - Jaipur
Morning sightseeing tour of Delhi, India's Capital and a major gateway to
the country. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Evening visit the Laxmi
Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple.Afternoon Leave for Jaipur.
Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 03 : Jaipur After
a leisurely breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort, the one that cannot be
easily described. You ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the
royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Post lunch tour of the
Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal. This elaborate building, now
little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and
carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters,
could sneakily view the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai
Singh's observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th
century. Later also visit Birla Mandir - a unique monument with exquisite
marble carvings. In the evening enjoy your dinner at Chokhi dani (an ethnic
village resort) where you will have an idea of the village life of
Rajasthan. Also enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and
various other interesting activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day
04 : Jaipur - Agra (By Road - 176kms - 04hrs) After breakfast
drive to the city of Taj - Agra, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a
perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" which was the
estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar. Arrive Agra and transfer to
hotel. Evening visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunset. One of the Seven
Wonders of the World and the most extravagant expression of love ever
created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to
Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Overnight at hotel
Day 05 : Agra
After breakfast visit Agra Fort. A hilltop citadel with fabulous
courtyards, fountains and gates. Post lunch tour of Itmad-Ud-Dullah's tomb,
or the 'Baby Taj'. Less visited but much admired, it bears striking mosaics
inlaid with sparkling stones. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 :
Agra - Delhi (By Road - 200kms - 04hrs) Leave for Delhi early in
the morning . Arrive in Delhi Transfer to Hotel. After breakfast sightseeing
of Delhi visiting the Qutab Minar - a fine example of early Mughal and
Afghan architecture, Red fort & Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. Later drive
past to the grand government buildings, the President's House and India
Gate. Evening transfer to airport for onward journey.
